Some parents on the Central Coast could soon see extra money in their bank accounts. Congressman Salud Carbajal says the payment is part of the Biden Administration’s American Rescue Plan. It will pay families who make up to $150,000 for a couple or $112,500 for a single parent a total of $3,600 per child under 6 and a total of $3,000 for each child between the ages of 6 and 17. Carbajal says the payment will affect more than 135,000 children and their families in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties.
