A San Luis Obispo man is facing several drug and weapons charges. Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputies were sent to the Chumash Casino because a man was reportedly passed out in his car with drug paraphernalia on his lap. When they arrived, deputies found 27-year-old Jacob Southard being detained by Casino security. A search of his vehicle also turned up, a handgun, loaded high capacity magazines, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, and an illegally modified high-power rifle, prescription medication, heroin, and methamphetamine.
