An Arroyo Grande woman was seriously injured riding her bike in Los Osos yesterday morning. CHP investigators say the 73-year-old woman was southbound on South Bay Boulevard when she tried to turn left onto Turri Road. Her turn put her in the path of a southbound box truck. The driver swerved to miss the woman, but her head and upper body were struck by the truck’s mirror. She was taken to an area hospital and last reported to be awake in serious condition.
