Santa Maria could see more affordable housing. The City Planning Commission will be looking at a proposed 184 unit project that would be built on more than six acres at the corner of Miller Street and Plaza Drive. According to KSBY, “Affordable” means it has to be accessible to people who make 60% or less of the area’s median income. Tonight’s planning commission meeting will be on Zoom starting at 6:30.
