Opening Day Of Mid-State Fair

Today is opening day of the California Mid-State Fair. This year’s fair will officially begin following a ribbon-cutting at 3:30 this afternoon at the main entrance of the fairgrounds. Officials say the Mid-State Fair will look “pretty much normal” with some subtle differences. Everything that makes up the Mid-State Fair will be there, just a little more spread out than in the past. There will also be no crowd limits or vaccine requirements. But the state recommends that if a person is not vaccinated, they should wear a mask or obtain a negative COVID-19 test. Fair officials agree, but will not be enforcing mask-wearing.
