Atascadero City Fire investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that seriously damaged a home yesterday afternoon. Firefighters responded to a call about a structure fire in progress on El Camino Real at about 4 o’clock. Officials say the fire started outside the home but, by the time crews arrived, the flames had made their way into the attic. One person suffered minor injuries but didn’t require hospitalization.
