A Lompoc man is facing illegal gun charges. Police say they received reports about a man with a gun near the intersection of Laurel Avenue and D Street Wednesday afternoon. Officers found two people who said the man had pulled a gun and pointed it at them in separate incidents. Police found a man matching a witness description. He was detained and officers found a semi-automatic handgun his possession. The 28-year-old was taken into custody and is facing charges of gun possession and parole violations.
