The CHP is investigating a single-vehicle crash in Shandon that killed one person yesterday. Cal Fire SLO officials say the crash happened on Highway 41 near Wood Canyon Road just before 7 p.m… At some point after the crash the vehicle caught fire, causing a small vegetation fire. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
