The Morro Bay City Council is mourning one of its own this morning. Councilman Robert Red Davis passed away on Saturday. Morro Bay Mayor John Headding called Davis a wonderful leader, friend to many, and one of a kind. According to the Tribune, Red Davis passed away at home on Saturday at the age of 76. His family will host a public celebration of his life in the next couple of weeks. Event details will be posted on the city’s website.
