Santa Barbara County Health officials say a majority of the new COVID-19 cases are people who are unvaccinated. 1200 new cases were reported last month. According to KEYT, 1426 cases were reported between April, May, and June. Public Health officials said Unvaccinated people have a daily case rate of 15.3 per 100,000 people. While vaccinated people have a daily case rate of 2.1 per 100,000. Officials will hold a press conference this morning to address upcoming restrictions.
