The preliminary hearing for Paul and Ruben Flores continued yesterday. The court heard testimony from former friends of Paul and an ex-girlfriend. She testified that during a visit to Ruben Flores’s home she was told to stay away from the avocado trees at the back of the property. Later, Chris Lambert, producer of the podcast “Your Own Backyard” was issued a subpoena to testify during the hearing. The preliminary hearing was scheduled to take 12 days. Judge van Rooyen believes it could go through the end of the month.
