Arroyo Grande Woman Headed To Prison

An Arroyo Grande woman is headed to prison after pleading guilty to embezzlement. Yesterday, 56-year-old Ginger Mankins pleaded guilty to six counts of embezzlement. According to the San Luis Obispo County D.A.’s Office, she’ll be sentenced to 10 years in prison and ordered to pay back the money stolen. Authorities say, between 2007 and 2017 Mankin was the bookkeeper for Rick Machado Livestock and B&D Farms, stealing roughly 5 million dollars.
