Paso Robles police are investigating a shooting incident that left a man seriously injured yesterday. The victim’s wife reported the shooting just before 1 o’clock yesterday afternoon. She told police her husband had been shot at their Dorothy Street home. The victim had been shot in the side of the head, suffering s serious but non-life-threatening injury. He was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment. A few hours later, police arrested 20-year-old Carlos Luis Chavez on suspicion of attempted murder and other charges.
