A man was arrested last night following a stabbing incident on East Grand Avenue in Grover Beach. Police say it happened just after 7 o’clock. First responders found the 34-year-old victim with a life-threatening stab wound on his neck. He was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive the ordeal. Surveillance video helped investigators identify 24-year-old Mark Simpson as the suspected attacker. He was later picked up by police and booked into San Luis Obispo County jail on suspicion of attempted murder.
