The trial for a Shandon man accused of stabbing another man to death got underway yesterday. The jury heard opening statements in the case of 29-year-old Kejuan Guy Bynum. he’s accused of stabbing 23-year-old Cristopher Vento Wilson at a party in Shandon on June 1st, 2019. Prosecutors say Bynum was jealous and enraged. His defense attorney says the case lacks motive and noted that a murder weapon was never found. Bynum has pleaded not guilty to the murder charge.
