Cal Fire crews made quick work of a brush fire that popped up near the 101 over the weekend. Saturday afternoon at around 3:40, a crew responded to the Higuera Street offramp. They found flames had charred brush and trees. The flames were doused. No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause is ongoing.
