Ahead of the Halloween weekend, local law enforcement agencies will be increasing patrols. Last year, under the pandemic lockdown, Halloween looked different. Still, San Luis Obispo PD officials say they made seven public intoxication arrests. Agencies up and down the Central Coast are expecting a busier celebration this year. They are reminding everyone to have a plan before heading out, and don’t drink and drive. If you do drink, have a designated driver or use a ride-sharing app.
