Two Paso Robles men are behind bars after a stolen license plate leads to a stolen car. The Paso Robles Police Department’s license plate scanner alerted officers to a vehicle with a reported stolen license plate in a Taco Bell drive-thru Tuesday night. The plate was attached to a vehicle that had been reported in September. Following a 30-minute standoff, the officers used pepper ball shots to force the suspects out of the vehicle. They are now facing several charges.
