San Luis Obispo Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a hate crime suspect. It happened at around 6 Monday evening near the intersection of High and Santa Barbara streets. An Asian male and a white female were walking their dog when a man began yelling racial slurs at the couple. He then approached them and assaulted the female when she tried to call police.
