It could soon be easier and cheaper to use public transportation in Santa Maria. The City Council is discussing changes to the Short-Range Transit Plan. Those changes would include 25 new bus stops, reworking bus routes, with each route starting at 6:30 a.m… Another change would be the price. A current 31-day pass would be reduced from 48 dollars to 31 dollars.
