San Luis Obispo City firefighters made quick work of an apartment fire late yesterday afternoon. Crews were called out to a structure fire at Phillips Lane at around 4 o’clock. When they arrived, they noticed smoke coming from the first floor of the two-story complex. Firefighters quickly contained the flames that originated in the kitchen. One resident suffered smoke inhalation. Officials say the cause of the fire appears to be cooking-related.
