Lompoc Police say two known gang members have been taken off the street. Authorities tried to make contact with Anthony Moralez and Miguel Gutierrez. But they both fled. During the foot chase, Moralez reportedly ditched a firearm in the window of a nearby home before being taken into custody. Police eventually found the gun in a child’s room. Morales is facing several weapons charges. Gutierrez faces a probation violation.
