The results from an autopsy related to last month’s fatal shark attack could take weeks to complete. According to the Tribune, 42-year-old Tomas Butterfield from Sacramento was killed while boogie boarding Christmas Eve morning. Officials say preliminary results are not releasable. Adding that final results are usually available eight to 10 weeks from the time of death. The investigation by the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is ongoing.
