This morning marks the beginning of a Bob Jones Bike Trail a safety improvement project. Several homeless campers in the area were given notice on Friday to move out. The construction project is expected to last at least eight weeks. Meanwhile, people camping in the area will have to find another place to live. An ongoing lawsuit against the city claims San Luis Obispo is criminalizing homelessness. City officials say they strive to offer services and connections to resources for the homeless.
