Santa Maria City officials are making free 31-day bus passes available to local teens in the 7th through 12th grades. The passes are made possible through a grant from the Recreation and Parks Department, the Mayor’s Task Force on Youth Safety, and Santa Maria Regional Transit. Students can apply at the Able Maldonado Community Youth Center on South McClelland Street from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
