A small group of Morro Bay residents has created a petition to do away with waterfront camping. The camping program started as a pilot program in September of 2020. According to KSBY, has brought in 175,000 dollars to the city. But supporters of the petition say The RVs take up valuable parking and ruin the town’s ambiance. The petition could eventually become a ballot measure in June.
