The judge in the Kristin Smart murder case is expected to rule tomorrow on a motion by Paul Flores’ attorneys to dismiss the case. According to the Tribune, they filed the 85-page motion last month. They claim the prosecution’s case lacks credible evidence. The San Luis Obispo County D.A.’s Office countered filed a 47-page opposition on Monday. They say their case is based on collective witness statements and physical evidence gathered from Flores’ dorm room and his father’s property in Arroyo Grande. Trial is scheduled to begin in April.
