A shooting incident in rural Paso Robles is being called self-defense. It happened just before 11 o’clock Tuesday night. Deputies responded to a report of trespassers on the 14-thousand block of Chimney Rock Road. The man inside the home on the property confronted one of the trespassers. The two argued. 67-year-old Daniel Enriquez David fired a shotgun at the car, hitting Michael Fordyce in the face and shoulder. Investigators say Fordyce made threats against David, causing him to fear for his life.
