Santa Maria Police say one of the drivers involved in a head-on crash this week has died. The crash happened Tuesday night near the intersection of Beth Court and Alvin Avenue. The female driver of a car that drove into the path of an oncoming truck was airlifted to an area hospital with major head injuries. the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
