Five people suffered major injuries in a three-car crash on Highway 46 in Paso Robles Saturday night. The initial crash happened just before eight o’clock at the intersection of River Grove Drive. The second happened when the driver of an oncoming van hit one of the damaged vehicles. Three people were ejected from the van. Officials say they were not wearing seat belts. In total six people were taken to area hospitals for treatment. Drugs, alcohol, or distracted driving did NOT play a part in the crash.
