The indoor mask mandate in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties will be lifted tomorrow. The masking requirement has been in effect statewide since last September with the discovery of the Delta variant of COVID-19 and remained in place with the Omicron surge. Unfortunately, masking will still be required at schools, emergency shelters, long-term and senior health care facilities, public transit, and for those who are unvaccinated.
