An apartment fire in Arroyo Grande turned deadly late last night. The Five Cities Fire Authority received reports of a person trapped by flames in an apartment on Ide Street at around 10:20. A.G. Police officers used fire extinguishers until firefighters arrived, but they were unable to save the victim. According to KSBY, firefighters kept the flames contained to a single apartment in the complex. An investigation is ongoing.
