A man who was killed earlier this week in a crash on Highway 101 near Orcutt has been identified. CHP investigators say 49-year-old Raymond Speer died Tuesday evening near Clark Avenue, when his pickup truck left the road, hit a tree, and landed in a field. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cause of the cash is still under investigation.
