No rain in the first two months of the year has local farmers concerned. The dry conditions mean farmers of fruits, vegetables, and wine grapes are being forced to use supplemental irrigation to help their crops grow. Growers in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties say they are hopeful for any rain in the near future and will do the best they can with what they get.
