If you thought gas prices on the Central Coast were high… We’re not alone. ABC’s Alex Stone reports Gas prices in California are now at a record high — never before have they been this high. In some areas hovering around 5 bucks a gallon for regular unleaded. AAA says the average is now at 4-74 a gallon for regular unleaded. 4-78 here in LA County. Families who drive a midsize car are paying about 17 dollars more every time they fill up than they were a year ago. Alex Stone, ABC News, AAA says San Luis Obispo County has an average price for regular gas of 4.93 a gallon… Santa Barbara County 4.71 a gallon.
