Lompoc police are investigating a deadly weekend shooting. Authorities say officers responded to a report of a shooting on North ‘H’ Street just before 1 A.M. Saturday. When they arrived, they located 37-year-old Maurilio De Le Cruz. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment, but would later die from his injuries. Investigators say it’s unclear at this time if the shooting was gang-related. Anyone with helpful information about this shooting is asked to contact the Lompoc P.D.
