The San Luis Coastal Unified School District held a special board of trustees meeting to discuss COVID-19 safety mitigation measures. The nearly three hour-long meeting included a presentation on COVID-19 data and protocols followed by public comment. According to KSBY, Some parents said there needs to be mask choice similar to Paso Robles Joint Unified School District while others said they want the masking to remain in place for all students. A decision could come at a regular board meeting on March 15th. An update on mask requirements is expected from State Health officials on Monday.
