SpaceX plans to launch a Falcon 9 rocket into orbit this morning. The launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base is scheduled for 9:12. The rocket will deliver a package of 50 Starlink satellites about 15 minutes into the mission. Earlier this month, SpaceX announced a geomagnetic storm caused about 40 of their Starlink satellites to reenter the Earth’s atmosphere. Officials say no debris is expected to make it to the surface of the Earth.
