Beginning this morning, masks will no longer be required in public indoor areas. The relaxed requirement includes vaccinated and unvaccinated residents. While masks are no longer required, they are still strongly recommended. Health care and long-term care facilities, jails, and prisons will continue to require masking. San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County schools will strongly recommend, but not require masks beginning March 12th.
