Gas Prices Continue To Climb

The average price for a gallon of regular gas in California jumped 13 cents overnight from 5.44 to 5.57 a gallon. In San Luis Obispo County the price jumped 11 cents from 5.60 to 5.71 a gallon. Santa Barbara County saw a 14 cent jump to 5.54 a gallon. According to Triple-A, the Central Coast does NOT have the highest gas prices in the state. That distinction currently belongs to Mono County where gas is averaging 6.14 a gallon.
