The Morro Bay City Council has voted to put an end to RV Camping along the Embarcadero. With a 4-1 vote, the pilot program that generated more than 100,000 dollars a year for the Morro Bay Harbor Department was shut down. A group of concerned citizens cited parking, noise, and compatibility as issues that spawned a recent petition campaign. The camping program will be closed next month.
