The CHP is investigating a shooting incident that stopped traffic on the 101 in Atascadero yesterday afternoon. It happened at around 4:30 near the southbound 101Santa Barbara Road off-ramp. Investigators say three shots came from the passenger side of a white four-door BMW with tinted windows and a pink sticker on the gas tank door. one of the shots fired struck a work truck. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to contact the CHP.
