President Joe Biden signed a 1.5 Trillion dollar spending bill yesterday. Eight million dollars of the federal money is headed to San Luis Obispo County as “community project funding.” A few of the county projects that will see funding from the bill include $5.6 million for the San Luis Obispo Public Safety Communication System. The upgrades will improve the radio communications system countywide. And the Anderson Hotel in Downtown San Luis Obispo, which has housed low-income, frail seniors, and people with disabilities for the past 40-50 years.
