San Luis Obispo City officials marked the grand opening of a multi-million dollars safety project that has been in the works for more than two decades. The Railroad Safety Trail was officially opened yesterday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Railroad Safety Trail will link Cal Poly with Downtown, allowing residents to safely walk and bike through town. Officials say the trail will also help fulfill city goals of climate action and sustainable transportation.
