A wrong-way driver sent an Atascadero man to the hospital early yesterday morning. CHP investigators say 24-year-old David Lopez of Santa Maria entered the southbound lanes of the 101 near TV Tower Road, crashing head-on with 37-year-old Duane Adent of Atascadero. He suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment. Lopez was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
