The recent rain forced a circus visiting Santa Maria to fold up its big top early. American Circus had set up at Minami Park, which is used as a drainage basin. They had been scheduled to be there for four days, but when the rain began yesterday, officials decided to cancel the show. American Circus officials promised to return to Santa Maria next year with a brand new show.
