An 18-year-old is behind bars this morning on suspicion of murder. Lompoc Police say 37-year-old Maurilio De La Cruz was shot to death on February 19th. An investigation led them to 18-year-old Jorge Tafoya, Jr… He was arrested yesterday at a home on West Pine after officers negotiated a peaceful surrender. He was booked on suspicion of murder. Investigators have not released a motive for the shooting.
