Cal Poly Police say officers interrupted a burglary early Friday morning. According to the Tribune, it happened at the rodeo grounds. The thieves apparently broke into a couple of vendor booths almost getting away with thousands of dollars of product. but because police interrupted the burglars, they sped away from the scene, with the alleged stolen goods falling out of their vehicle. Police say they recovered some of the stolen items but the suspects got away. The investigation is ongoing.
