Santa Maria Police say a Nipomo man, suspected of attempted murder is behind bars. they say 22-year-old Manuel Sanchez was taken into custody in San Luis Obispo County. Authorities discovered he had an outstanding warrant for a shooting that happened in Santa Maria in January. He’s currently in San Luis Obispo County Jail facing several felony charges including attempted murder.
