A suspicious package in an airport restroom prompted San Luis Obispo Airport authorities to call the Sheriff’s Bomb Squad. It happened at around 11:20 last night. A device looking like “live mortar rounds” was discovered by airport security. Airport staff were the only people in the building at the time. They were asked to leave. A short time later, the Bomb Squad determined the package was not a threat. The airport returned to normal operations.
